Been terribly busy, updates have suffered accordingly, but will rectify the situation soon. In summary: lettuce germinating beautifully, radishes growing really fast, waiting for the others to start coming up. Planted some sweet peppers. Significant other found some cheap irrigation stuff for my roof garden, surprised me. Plotting turning roof garden into a temporary greenhouse for the winter.

Planted quite a few bits this weekend: lettuce, watercress, tomatoes, parsley, radishes .. can’t wait for it all to start growing
Walking around my garden this morning I got disheartened, comes with looking at all these beautiful pictures online. Its a good thing in a sense, gardening will teach me patience if nothing else.

Popped out onto the balcony this morning and to my surprise the spring onion and sweet basil I’d planted have started to sprout! Paprika’s are popping up like crazy as well, so very happy with developments. Must finish the new herb beds this weekend so that I can start splitting them soon.
